just did the Weather.com Survey and it teased a 15 day forecast.

When I was looking at the IS2 Jr in Grand Coulee, WA earlier this afternoon, I noticed on the LDL that none of the cities are local. For example, one city, Yakima, is nowhere near Grand Coulee, but rather about 150 miles away. The closest city on the LDL is Moses Lake, which is only about 75 miles away from Grand Coulee. I guess the local Charter headend didn't realize that there are a few towns much closer to the area than the aforementioned towns plus Ellensburg (about 120 miles away) that they could have used on the LDL instead.

I know this has been talked about before, but I'm surprised a commercial promoting an NBC Universal channel is being shown on a FOX-owned network.

ive seen that promo several times on my cable system, it does it when it shows the local cable providers own ads. happens on a lot of the channels. it does the same promo stuff for other channels like hdnet, axstv, espn, sec network... i even saw an older local on the 8s ad from the intellistar 2 before its weather all the time upgrade, during the time the update already took place. apparently somebody likes showing older adverts!

Oh, that's right.  I forgot that Cable Companies often like to throw in their own ads from time-to-time.  It can be annoying on TWC because then it disrupts the WAAT.

I was told by Freddy Flaxman on Twitter the IS2 is getting new features early September.

I noticed TWC is using the small studio 1C  for the 2pm hour.
They had stopped using studio 1C when it became the temporary expert area as TWC was remodeling the Global Forecast Center into The Lab.

I was told by Freddy Flaxman on Twitter the IS2 is getting new features early September.

Maybe the changes will happen tomorrow?

I don't think this has anything to do with the update, but my IS2HD looks ver blurry and weird. Anyone else have this problem?

The New Bedford IS2 has been off since 4am so I can't see that on my end

TWC is live all night tonight, mainly because of the midwest severe storms. However, they're also giving other forecasts and tropical updates. It's nice to see them on live during primetime.
