I get the video player and no video for most of them like the storm watch,

While talking to Al and Stephanie Sam said that they are building a new set for the AM show.
I'm wondering what space that is going to be?
The only other large studio space if I'm correct is 1C which they only seem to use when there is work being done on the HD studio.

I flipped to TWC, and I see they're reporting weather for US Territories and select Int'l cities on the LDL ticker (92 at Rio, wish I could be there now). Since when did they do that?

I know we can't satisfy everyone, but I feel that TWC is now "over-doing" Storm Mode.  I don't mind the extra coverage, but do the black and red colors and the special music really need to be used?  I mean, come on.

Sadly because it's in the Northeast if this was happening in the Midwest or Great Plains they would have longform on.

The promo for a reality show airing at 11pm was incorrect as storm coverage is all day through the overnight.

Just this morning, I was thinking about reality shows and other long form programming. If there is a big weather story, such a a winter storm, hurricane, or severe weather outbreak, TWC will preempt regular programming. I've heard them say "we're sorry we had to preempt Breaking Ice", for example and I am like "don't apologize for that, weather coverage is the way TWC used to be and ought to be!!

I've had to deal with sorta the same thing at my station. We report the weather accurately but news tries to make everything into a big deal sending reporters out everywhere, etc. It's just the nature of the business now. Remember these events generate big ratings. Sweeps just started up so you can expect local and cable news networks to go all out these next few weeks on every story.
