While channel surfing, I noticed Comcast has programming from 5am-5pm labeled as "Tropical Storm Karen Coverage". I doubt they'll stay on that long now that Karen ceases to exist.

EDIT: Actually they have the block labeled as such until 2am.

Whenever there's either a hurricane or tropical storm, TWC usually updates the program guides whenever necessary and labels the program guide as "Hurricane/Tropical Storm _________ Coverage" as the storm occurs. I recall seeing "Hurricane Jeanne Coverage" on TWC's program guide back in 2004 when Hurricane Jeanne was making landfall. TWC must of requested either Zap2it or Titan TV to update the listings.

lusejo12: We already have a topic on the new graphics and quite a bit of discussion about it.  Please check here.  For consistency, let's try to keep all talk about the new graphics in that thread.  Thanks.

Yeah, I remember seeing "Winter Storm Nemo" as a programming block when that winter storm hit.  However, with Tropical Storm Karen being a bust, I would presume they would cut their coverage short.

I also remember seeing a long-form show in place of the 1AM ET WCL block a few weeks ago. Maybe TWC is testing out a possible schedule change?  :dunno:

There might be a Schedule Change coming with the new Graphics? we'll have to see in November to find out.

This happened about a month ago also. My guide said there was long form at 1am for one night only. But I don't know why they'll ditch weather center live at 1am.  :dunno: I doubt it's part of a schedule change but I could be wrong? Could they just replay the 10pm ET Weather Center Live? That's what they do for :10, :20, :40, :50 past the hour

Can TWC come up with a better name for the north east rain storm than "Nasty Coastal Storm"?

Here's the answer for why there was no WLC Thursday at 1am.
Danielle Banks - They were doing some maintenance.  It was a last minute thing. Originally, they were going to do the maintenance on Thursday.

No WCL at 1AM ET, same time as last week. I guess TWC must be doing maintenance work again.  :dunno:
