Checked 4pm and 7pm and they are only playing instrumental songs from the current mix of songs playing on the LOT8s.

While those numbers may seem high, they're not nearly as high as they were in the mid 2000s before we had smartphones like we have today.

I'm proud of TWC for stepping up and covering this devastating tornado instead of showing longform.  There may be hope yet.  Although the ratings may not be as high as they have been in times past, they still show that TWC can be relevant.

They have indeed been relevant they're doing an outstanding job with their coverage this is the channel i grew up watching i have some links to share to help out the people in Oklahoma.

Sorry for the double post, but it looks like TWC has finally stopped their continuing live coverage as of 8 PM ET.  At 8 PM they showed long-form then at 9 PM they had the special on the Oklahoma tornado.

Does anyone know how many consecutive hours TWC was live?  Were they showing long-form on Monday and then cut into it to show the tornado coverage, or were they planning to be live all day Monday?

If I'm correct they went to taped programming 2am-4am Wednesday.

Wow!! It's a Jennifer Lopez and Paul Goodloe reunion on extended coverage today!

TWC is also commercial-free at this hour.

Thursday TWC was commercial free for the 4pm hour.
Dr. Forbes came on early in the 4pm hour joining Dr. Greg Postel who was on all afternoon.

Friday TWC is scheduled to be live to 11pm if not longer if there is still severe weather.

Andy mentioned this before, but it wasn't until tonight I realized how incredibly annoying this man really is. Those constant outbursts and interruptions while Dr. Forbes was talking mid-sentenced irritated me just enough to turn my head away from the TV and stop watching TWC in less than 2 minutes. It's good thing Dr. Forbes is a class act and professional when on-air because if I was in his shoes I would have been told Chris to STFU with his annoying squealing. I know that might seem extreme, but I have a pet peeve about people constantly interrupting people mid-sentence especially in a case like this when that said person is trying to explain to viewers what's happening and they can't get past a sentence without being asked a dozen other questions. It's a really bad habit I don't like.

IMO Chris Warren is just an annoying, constantly-interrupting person and it bothers me a lot when I'm trying to listen to Dr. Forbes talk about the dangerous OKC tornadoes. I've never been a fan of Chris and I most likely will never be due to how annoying he is

I agree, he really needs to stop interrupting him it's just downright rude and annoying. I would post on his FB page but I am not sure if my post would be enough to make him stop.
