Reynolds Wolf was wearing his suit jacket this am.
It's so much more professional then when they don't wear them making visible with the sometimes wrinkly shirts and wires for the mic and IFB.
Warren Madden is as well. Looks very professional!

Good. Now all they have to do is tell the women OCM's to stop wearing skin-tight crap and wear a little more clothing.

TWC extended coverage to cover the mid west storm.
We had a first time weekend paring of Reynolds Wolf and Mike Bettes 3pm-7pm.

I never really paid much attention to the Max radar on air until today when it comes to wintry weather, I didn't realize they had color coding for ice (light/dark purple) If it's remotely possible, I really wish they would use the max radars on the IntelliStar, it would be far more superior than the crappy radar the IntelliStar uses now.

Excuse the double post, but anybody wanna take a crack at what's wrong with this? :dunno:

HINT: Think about the colors being used or not used.

Horrible.

On another note, and I'm going to try to be as little rude as possible, but are Chris and Crystal always so boring and just out of it?  I couldn't watch but like 10 seconds of the Top 5 on WCL an hour ago because they were stuttering, trying to make jokes and couldn't, and all around sounded like a mess.  What is wrong with those two, and how does TWC manage to keep them together like that on a prime time spot, nonetheless.

Should we worry that there could be a white Christmas in Arizona and Florida as well? It seems the gray color is supposed to be "Not Likely" and that the white color is supposed to be "Possible"

Basically, this map is stating that anything is possible. Haha.

Yes, that was a poor choice of color, especially since the color in the legend does look grey, not white.  What was wrong with making the non-snow areas the same color as, say, Mexico?  Probably to highlight the fact that this map isn't forecasting for areas outside the continental United States.  In that case, why not go back to the U.S.-only maps, which had the U.S. essentially "floating" in the middle of nowhere?

Why is TWC still showing the LOT8s intro from Hurricane Sandy?

Because nowhere on the intro does it indicate Sandy

I wonder why TWC thinks using a grey map base is a good idea, especially for winter weather.

TWC now has a winter "Storm:con" index similar to the tornado "Tor:con" index.

Now if they would just get rid of the stupid naming scheme for winter storms and put all emphasis on this instead, everything would be set. I mean seriously, why didn't they just do this in the first place? :dunno: They knew how well TOR:CON was working for them, it should have been a light bulb moment instead of wasting time naming storms that we all know in reality nobody is gonna remember in the same way as they do hurricanes since every other weather outlet denounces this strategy. Hell, I forgot they were naming winter storms until I saw "Caesar" or whatever last week.
