Okay, this is very contradicting.. but why is a FOX show being advertised during LOT8s on TWC, an NBC network?!

Was it a local insert by your cable company?

If he's talking about that "Touch" show promo, I don't think so because I saw it too. I occasionally see TWC air promos outside of networks not under NBC's reign so I guess it's not too surprising.

No it's the sponsor for lot8s today at :58.. it also has a sponsor logo during the :58 LFs too and it couldn't have been a headend ad because I saw it at :57 and headend ads occur at :17/:47 past

Any commercial that airs on TV or radio can come from anywhere, no matter who owns it or where it airs on. It's called "advertising"  :bleh:

Jim, why would The Weather Channel have a FOX show sponsor the Local Forecast when FOX competes with NBC who is part of the NBC Universal Family?

FOX Promo on The Weather Channel

WCL at 7pm and 10pm did not use the studio and there were not many actual forecast segments.
At 1am they are using the studio and it's been more forecasts segments.
Kelly, Kim and Paul were on at 7pm and 10pm. It's just Crystal and Chris for 1am.

Two changes I noticed at 1am is during the 7 Day Forecast there was a song playing in the background that totally distracting and not needed.
Second the LDL squeezeback was not used.

How does a camera shot like this not get adjusted before it gets on the air?
It happened two weeks ago and again tonight during the 1am ET WCL.

Yeah I see that now.

Also is it just me or has the map on that wall finally been lit back up as of late?

FOX Promo on The Weather Channel

Dunno why a FOX promo is on NBC-owned TWC, but whatever that may be, FOX is just trying to get viewers to watch the show via promotion  ;)

Partially.  More so than yesterday, but not all the way.  The "tomorrow" tab and "month" tab still use the old icons. :hmm:

Actually, I looked at those pages and with a cleared cache, and they do indeed still show the older icons
