The SD Sat LDL is translucent again.
Yep, I saw that, and this time the logo is too.
I thought the logo was always transparent when the LDL was. :dunno:

I believe TWC is preempting long form programming this evening for the SE UUL. Heather and Jeff were on an extra hour today and Nick and Viv came on a hour later at 3pm.

According to the TV schedule on weather.com, looks like WCL will be on until 2AM ET (11AM PT) tonight. No long-form this evening

TWC definitely knows when to pre-empt long form, thus they are able to get the increase in ratings all the time.

The best part of longform has been hearing the Intellistar internal playlist.  :P But it is nice they are preempting tonight.

Frank Mitchell: Jetsons?
Hakeem: Yeah, you and George got the same haircut.

2am ET is a rebroadcast of 1am ET.
Will 3am be live with First Outlook starting early or will the 1am hour be aired again at 3am?

Yes, it was a repeat of WCL at 3am.

A little flashier and more dramatic that the open used on TWC. This one was for MSNBC:

Sorry for double posting...

This is a weather.com forecasting question.  For the Norman forecast tonight, I am noticing a contradiction.  For the "forecast summary" under the Now conditions, I see this:

"Through 4am: A period of steady snow is likely between 1am and 2am. Mostly cloudy with temperatures steady in the mid 30s. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70%. No significant snow accumulations through 4:00am."

But for the text forecast for tonight, I see this:

"Considerable cloudiness. Low 34F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph."

So is it going to snow tonight, or not?  Why doesn't the Tonight Forecast say "chance of snow" and use the snow showers icon, if that's what the forecast summary says? :dunno:

I've generally stopped using weather.com for forecasts. I'd look more at what NWS has to say for your area, which I see has a slight chance of rain and snow. Another possibility is that weather.com hasn't quite updated it's 36 hour forecast.

Snow is however in Norman's Daypart forecast at 2 AM CT http://www.weather.com/outlook/driving/interstate/hourbyhour/graph/USOK0388

I also heard the very end of what sounded like a new Station ID, with new music...however I don't know if it changed to the winter theme because it was on the radio provider when I tuned in.
