I like that icon! Wonder if they're making a whole new set?  :thrilled:

I really like the lightning strike, it looks more realistic. Another good change for the icons would be downsizing the raindrops, they're way too large.

Change of topic....it was 29 years ago tonight that The Weather Channel spent it's first minute on air. Man have things changed since then.

doubtful. They're not going to spend money for new icons, and then change them again slightly over a year later.

I doubt it too, but you saw that they got new title bars after a year of just getting new ones.

In this photo you see the colors of the studio have some purple in it. Why don't they do that anymore? All we see is blue and yellow. I liked how in 2008 they turned the studio red for Storm Alert. I miss that. http://img.coxnewsweb.com/B/04/51/99/image_7099514.jpg

I actually don't remember that, but since that shot was taken during EE, my best guess would be that the set turned purple for the EE time slot.

She was looking nice the morning. Nice to not see Al on, which I got up at 7:30EDT so he might have been on "Today"

This doesn't quite count as a blooper, so i'll post it here. This afternoon when Jeff Morrow was showing the radar, his click got stuck and shot through his playlist of graphics and he had to pull the button off the remote.
