I just saw a "From The Edge" promo on Discovery Channel.
Not surprising. Ever since NBC took over, the number of cross-network promos for TWC has increased.

This morning on WUWA and earlier on Day planner i noticed the show names being shown such as they would be during Primed for excitement on the LDL ad system.. seems thats now been implemented into all shows

Hasn't it been like that for awhile now? :dunno: Anyways, I really like this idea  (although it's surprising that they wouldn't want to show the ads the whole time).

The only live show was WxCenter and the long form shows had it, but today was the first day I saw it on WUWA/DP

Yea I thoughts thats been occurring for a while. My guess is the ads are harder to sell than they thought. It has to be specially made and doesn't show much information. Showing the show names is ok I guess but I wish they would improve on the quality of the graphic. I find them to be a bit lacking

Now this looks a bit more like 3D as compared to that other crap that was used for the "Top 5." It's still not as good as the clip Tyler posted, though.

Their graphics team is probably working on more stuff, so we might see more of this being used in the future.

Personally, I think the 3D stuff is pretty neat (if it looks more 3D-like than just an extended chroma key). Now is it absolutely necessary? Well, probably not. But I wouldn't say it's a complete waste of money.

I doubt this costs them much since its just VIZ, which they already have, and they just added green paint or cloth.

Hmm, with this snowstorm that will be developing in the NE, I wonder if TWC will preempt programming tonight... :P  :hammer:

Doubt it. They've been hyping this Peter Lik guy for weeks now. They didn't preempt last night when most of Florida was doused with rain and thunderstorms.  <_<
