Didn't this woman work at TWC about two years ago or something?

Dr. Heidi Cullen. She hosted "The Climate Code" and "Forecast Earth" back in ~2006-2008.

You're right.  Her book is called "The Weather of the Future", and it was published last August.

Why did TWC use Tru Vu Max for almost a month, then stop using it?

Also, I am not really a fan of Brian Norcross.

And today marks the 18th anniversary of the Superstorm of '93. :D Oh how I wish I was old enough to remember it, it was a remarkable storm for my area, the only storm I'm aware of that dropped a foot of snow at once and the GA mountains saw 3 feet!

Here's a few clips of TWC at the height of the monster storm if you haven't seen them, in the first two videos it's footage of TWC being knocked off and on the air due to the blizzard conditions occurring in Atlanta at the time.

Also one of the news affiliates out of Birmingham, AL uploaded a 5 part series of their reporting there.  I would recommend watching them also, interesting footage of James Spann and his analysis on everything that was happening.

Great clips - thanks for sharing!  I remember that storm very well.  Has it already been eighteen years?! :o
