It got fixed this afternoon. It's done it before, too. Oh well.

This evening on Open Mike, Mike Bettes was getting a little snotty and sarcastic about people refusing to move their cars during a snow emergency. :P

But he made a good point.  It probably is true that those who refuse to move their cars are also the same people who complain that snow removal takes so long.

I wouldn't be surprised either, and I'm completely in agreement with Mike Bettes.  You actually get a pretty heavy fine and could be towed if you don't move your vehicle out of a snow emergency route.

During Saturday morning at work, a forecaster had TWC on the big-screen TV.  He and I saw Stephanie acting in a segment called "Ms. Wizard."  Seriously, when did this segment debut, and why couldn't it be saved for a long-form show rather than airing it during live time?  The two of us were laughing and rolling our eyes as Stephanie crushed a can without using her hands to demonstrate pressure.
TWC is just trying to expose that person as much as they can. Jeez, sooner or later Stephanie is gonna suffer from exhaustion and health problems if she keeps working like this.

I hope that doesn't happen to her.

So it would appear that Ryan Goswick never left TWC... he's on the 6 PM CT hour of PM Edition right now.

Did anyone watch WV last Sunday? Well, on a map for Monday's forecast (which is now behind us), an XL snow icon slid in for a few seconds and slid back out!

And now, the national SD LDL cues out differently. Instead of the LDL going completely blank and cuing out like it did before, the yellow bar and the TWC logo are still on when the it cues out.

I saw that, it was neat. But, I think TWC still uses those icons for on-camera forecast maps, because this happened several times in the past few months. Always great to see those nice icons!

The ad space on the LDL is now occupied by a Thanksgiving travel box.

About the SD LDL... It's basically doing the same thing the red national LDL did, except the red LDL never had an out-animation.

They started the Thanksgiving travel boxl on WUWA this morning. During YWT, they had difficulties with it, and it was actually showing the map that was being shown on the green screen simultaneously.

I like the concept of the travel box in that spot as it's pretty handy.

I like the giant Thanksgiving Travel L-shaped thingy (whatever it's called >_>) a lot better than.. that. That's pointless to have a tiny box with the airports' forecast. I want RADARS!
