Yes, I recall Cantore going at least one other time.  Shall be interesting to see how close this hurricane gets to Bermuda.

Yes its happened before but its never been a priority for TWC. Even more so since this is happening on a weekend

my local NBC affiliate in Yuma, AZ aired an interview with Jim Cantore regarding his new Cantore Stories episode which will air tomorrow night. Looks like Jim says he loves it there and says he wants to come back. Nice, Jim!
