So, this is how TWC is going to make up for having no storm alerts or any hint of red modes during the last hurricane season.  Put up a red mode for an arctic air mass that will sweep the country over the next several days, which doesn't even constitute itself as a storm. :whistling:  Personally, I'd rather see normal coverage with special blue graphics to indicate the arctic blast coming as no one associates red with extreme cold, and it's sending a mixed message to viewers who normally associate all the red on the screen with serious storms.

Looks like that's the case. They just showed a wideshot of the old studio where the OCM offices are, and the backdrop was there.

Why does TWC show segments from the radio meteorologists? Are they capable of doing something the OCM's can't? The radio mets should be doing their jobs - working on radio, not TV. Plus I doubt they even like being on camera, and they present the same exact things the OCM's present. It just doesn't make sense, IMO.

They've been doing that since Nor'Ida. I don't seem to get it either.  :thinking:
