WUWA branded YWT at 10am... I expect Long Form to be preempted.

I am proud of TWC for one thing... They are actually covering weather

I'm also glad they didnt play WUWA at 7 AM (my time). They have things to cover other than celebrities.
Good job TWC

Yeah, I don't understand why celebs are on WUWA.. whatever.

I am actually pleased with TWC's coverage on the "Atlantic Assault" (however--not a fan of the name)  They are not really taking anything out of proportion from what I can see.  I am enjoying the live reports as well.  Great Job, TWC (have not said that in..a while).

When did the last long-form program air before this weather event?  Sunday?

I don't want to sound dumb, but is this so-called "Atlantic Assault" like a tropical system/hurricane of its own? :dunno: Or is it just the remnants of Ida doing damage?

This is the remnants of Ida that merged together with a front that is intensifying off the coast.  The whole thing is extratropical, and the term "extratropical" simply means that it has no characteristics of a tropical cyclone but rather has warm and cold fronts just like all our normal systems in the mid-latitudes.

Meaning today's Day Planner had no DP music whatsoever... the old production crew was in...

Also, apparently on First Outlook it was Adam Berg and Scott Williams

Poor Adam Berg seems to be all over the place. IMO, he's good enough to have a set time/show. (But does being a "good" OCM have anything to do with where/when you work?)

Also, thank you for the crystal-clear explanation on the "Atlantic Assault" Patrick!

Interestingly, TWC started PME at 2 PM ET today instead of 3 PM ET. This is making me think that they're probably going to start WC w/Cantore & Steele one or two hours early. (either at 6 PM or 5 PM ET) This is likely being done because of TWC's plans to still show the movie at 8 PM. They want their signature Cantore & Steele show to still get maximum airtime given the weather situation.

I'm not surprised they would do that, it makes sense, this Nor'Easter is more important than seeing "Misery" which you can see on practically any movie channel you wanted to anyway. (lol looks like a Facebook member isn't happy with NBC being over management of TWC either.  :P
