The old graphic the used to be on screen when the LDL was off was on the YouTube live stream till around 7pm.

This is on the YouTube live feed during LOT8's and commercials.

Ah, the old maps. I sure miss those.

TWC has gone live in all areas for storm coverage. Kim and Nick are on.
The video is full screen and the show that would have been on still has its logo on the bottom right.
TWC went to long form at 8pm while storms are still active.
Friend in KS not getting storm coverage on TWC.
TWC is back live at 8:30pm in storm areas.

Guessing from this tweet those who don't have the IS2 on TWC HD do not get the live coverage,

As of 3 PM EST they are using a slightly different cut of the alert music for the WCL open.
They are also using a different "severe weather central" bumper that I've never seen used before (Yellow lightning strike)

Also intresting to note: During the 2:47 commercial break, I had no LDL and I could see the teleprompter feed on the very bottom of commercials that didn't fit the screen. I don't undestand how that's even possible. Happen to anyone else?

Yeah, They've had that bumper for a few days now. It's the same one as the red one, just a different color.

Wow, that's weird, but I remember once during WCL, the news ticker stopped working then faded out to gray.

They switched to red radar icon and "Severe Storm Central" name. The "Central" is a lighter blue on the TV in the GFC.
In the studio it is more of a light gray "Central" on that TV.

They turned the lighting behind Jim and Mark red during the middle of that live cross as well, (in between MAX full screens)
Also as of 10:10 EST they are using the red bumper\transition with a very 'digital' sounding bumper. What are they doing?

At 10:20PM ET, the National HD LDL turned red but it turned blue when it went into commercial. The Intellistar LDL remains blue. The LOT8s was still playing Vocals so I don't know what is going on.

At 10:50PM ET, the IS LDL turns red as well as the National HD LDL during Commercials but still no Storm Alert Music on LOT8s and the WCL logo remains blue.

the LDL bar is now black with red TWC logo, but no "Storm Alert" music just yet on TWC. but on the live coverage, the "Weather Center Live" logo and the "Live" graphic are blue while studio is in "Red Mode" we are on semi-storm alert but not full blown until the rest of the graphics go red and storm alert theme is playing during LOT8s, which i'm sure might happen as soon as midnight eastern/11 PM my time.

back to blue LDL as they go to break, ether they are having issues or are depending on the dual feed technology.

TWC either went to dual-feed coverage or stopped coverage completely as of 12 AM ET/11 PM CT as Highway Through Hell came on.  I only watched for about half an hour but up until that point the LDL was blue not red and no LOT8s were being shown (though they had plenty of time for a nice long commercial break. <_< )

Is it just me or do the "new" WUWAL graphics look TERRIBLE? It's like they are taking HD stock footage and compressing it down to 4:3 and then letter boxing it. It looks horrid. How long have they been doing this?
