Last weekend "Weekend Now" was using the "Day Planner" regional intro transitions.
Today they are using what I'm guessing are the old "Weekend Now" regional intro transitions.

There was a surf rescue drill in my area earlier this evening, and a film crew from TWC was there to film it for the new "Coast Guard" show, "Coast Guard Cape Disappointment." I decided to go and check out the drill, where I shot some video footage:

Either that or somebody found the old Kid Pix CD and had a go at that.  Are they purposely trying to make TWC look cheap?  A lot of this stuff they're doing now comes off that way to me.

I think the flag is excessive and looks chintzy, but you're right, uniformity is good I suppose.
