Does NBC save money by hiring only amateurs and interns to do the job?  Or are "qualified" technicians just that incompetent?  Or is the studio inadequate and the producers just don't care?

Yes, yes, and....wait for it....well yes. I don't know what the problem is but the monitor that displayed the PM Edition titlecard sure looked like it had a nasty case of the stomach flu with that godawful puke green.

It has been 2 years now since TWC had changes in its graphics including the launch of a new icon set, the new national LDL, new IS LDL, and the discontinuation of the XL's LDL.

Lighting was adjusted today and keeps changing every show.
Here's 9am, 12pm and 4pm.

Why the lighting keeps changing every hour only TWC can tell us.
Again I don't know why but the entire HD studio has been under lit since around the time they started to take down the video wall.

Dr. Forbes is in for PM Edition tracking the severe storms in the south.

As of tonight in the 8pm hour, the Weather Now updates at 10 and 40 after the hour are gone.
Instead they are using the LDL Squeeze back and doing the Weather Now update then at 38 minuets after.
In the 9pm hour they did it at 18 minuets.
I need to check if they are doing it any other times in the hour.
It's bad enough they only do two full local forecasts an hour during taped programming and now they are using the LDL Squeeze back instead.

The Squeezeback is better used for long-form like this. They shouldn't just show the LDL like they did before since there is no radar info. But they should just show LFs at 8s.

True but they were the regular local forecasts not the LDL Squeeze back they are using tonight.

They went to taped programming at 8pm but have decided to go live at 9:30pm to cover the storms in the south.
Chris said Ice Pilots will be on at 12:30am ET so they are not planning to be live then.
