I'm not sure when this happened, but the LOT8s corner ad was made smaller, so that it no longer juts out of the LDL.

So they didnt preempt after all?

They did (and still are). I saw that new corner ad yesterday, actually.

The HDTV is back behind the desk that was previously there before the switch to chroma key.

They are using the studio tonight but not the desk and are avoiding the video wall.
Segments are being done from the expert desk area.

First Outlook will be on at 3am and Wake Up With Al is on 5am to 7am.

What's scarier is it's programmed on my TV guide from 5-8am meaning if that's true they're gonna take an hour away from YWT, seriously, WTH?! What's the point of doing this?

That was an error in whoever provided the data to you guide. YWT was on at 7am ET.

TWC must be repairing or replacing the video wall because on YWT they were in the studio but did not use that area with the OCMs sitting on the opposite side of the desk.

I've noticed that when they do show the OCM in front of the duplex tv screens, which is to the left of the video wall, that area is blacked out and cannot be seen. I would say it's likely the video wall is going away.

TWC turns those off to conserve power. It's in the design of the HD Studio on their website. I'm not saying what you said is wrong, but It could just for saving energy. I hope they're not getting rid of the Video wall unless they plan to add something there that's better.

if only WUWA at 10am was live all the time, Al should just record segments with the Today show between 7 and 10 so he can rush back to the NYC studio for the 10am hour of WUWA for times like this.

Anybody think TWC will go commercial/LF free today? My gut tells me they will considering today could potentially be the worst outbreak we have seen since April 27, 2011 and definitely for 2012.

Don't know about commercial free, but reduced LFs definitely isn't out of the question here.
