This is probably a long shot, but does anybody think they will do live wx updates on Christmas Eve or preempt some of that long form programming for this upcoming Christmas storm if it turns out to be as potent as it's showing up on the European model?

Thanks to Billy for posting and Zach for finding these! :biggrin: These seem to be the highest quality icons provided on the xoap.weather.com site. One shocking thing, however, is that the thunderstorm icon (with lightning AND rain) is missing. Normally that icon appears as numbers 1 -4. :blink:

I don't know. They have the scattered thunderstorm icons though.

TWC is now in red mode for the Northeast/mid-Atlantic blizzard.

Edit: It may have just been a blooper, for they haven't used the red L3rds/live tag since about 2:30 PM ET.
