Does anyone know what happened to Chris Warren and Alexandra Steele? Ever since, that "adult oriented Tomorrow's Talker" segment, they haven't been on WC or on TWC ever since.

That was quite the segment. But yeah,as everyone else is saying,they're probably just on vacation.

What was this "segment"? And how come Jim is never on...after all, HIS name is part of the show title.

Speaking of which, Jen Carfagno.  Is she technically still one of the hosts of First Outlook, and if so who is her co-anchor?  Now that Jeff Morrow has been making more appearances, is he the co-host still?

Yes, Jen is still an anchor of First Outlook with Scott Williams as her co-anchor. Jeff Morrow is now anchor of early Weekend View as well as a Monday-Wednesday fill-in.

Today is the 5th anniversary of the day when the TWC logo changed

I don't think the Weatherscan changed on August 15th; IIRC it remained with the old logo until late September '05 when it received its current graphics.

But here's a video from just before First Outlook on August 15th '05, featuring the last LF opener with the old TWC logo and the first few minutes of First Outlook with the new logo.

It's interesting that a lot of the updates for the IntelliStar and on-air happened during the day instead of mostly overnight like a lot of the recent updates have. For example the IntelliStar graphically updating overnight back in October 2007, but the HD transition is sort of a outliner to this since it happened gradually over a course of months.

Correct. Mine changed along with the logo on 9/27.

According to ads I've seen this morning on TWC, Hurricane Week starts this Sunday. Looking at the listings for the week, a new series called "Riding it Out" will premiere, with the first episode on Monday night at 8 PM ET being about Katrina. It looks like there will be no "Storm Session" this year.

There hasn't been a new Storm Session since February 2009. I miss that show.
