Something is terribly wrong with the SD Istar feed. Audio gone and only a Flick and a Forecast ad on the bottom left side with no Istar LDL or even Satellite LDL

Edit: Local Xfinity Ads are working.

Also Blank ID screen so the Istar is down. is anyone else encountering this on their end?

The 9 PM ET hour of Weather Center actually has a sponsor (Wheaties Fuel) in the LDL. Its the first time I've seen a sponsored show in quite a while.

Some of these Weather Channel promos are really bothering me. They're always talking about "Staying with The Weather Channel" when yet they deem it acceptable to show a stupid movie every Friday night and use long-form almost all day on the weekends.

Sure their may be special coverage at some points, or dual-feed usage, but still...

Now twc showing another "The Severe Weather Authority" promo

2 quotes from Tornado Survivors on the promo

"I was Watching The Weather Channel, so we are alive."

"You all we're telling us where it (The Tornado) was gonna be."

And Jim Cantore towards the end of the promo says "I would not be surprised if you save many many lives."

I wonder if people at TWC are actually reading the forums as they are surprisingly doing a normal LF schedule instead of what Martin called "ahead of time scheduling".

Excuse my double-post, as it's for a different reason than my previous, but I noticed that the NOTIFY! LOT8s promos they've been showing seem to really have a great fps rate on TWC HD as it's just too smooth.

As I said, they're going to slowly start using the new music for shows... I know they all have it at this point...

Any rate, here's the new Weather Center teasers... Nice to see the W circle again, but it's a shame we won't see the wooshes and the whip crack sound effects anymore They have phased out the shorter openers for Weather Center at this point, and have been using the longer opener exclusively from what I've seen over the past few weeks. I apologize for the audio/video desync
