Well, gotta do something at :50 past the hour now that they don't do the Tropical Update until June
How about Storm Watch?
Yeah, let's do that. :P
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

They debuted new technology on First Outlook and Your Weather Today.. it's apparently called the TruPoint forecast, which depicts what the radar will look like at x time during the next 4-6 hours...

Neat! Some of the local news stations here use technology like that (ie. WPVI-TV uses FutureTracker) and was wondering if it ever would make its way to TWC.

Yeah, it's about time. Local stations have had this feature for years now. ;)

But WHY are they using Google Earth's radar image? Why not just integrate it into Titan HD? The Google Earth radar image looks less sharp and clear. And I know for a fact Titan HD has that capability.

Will tomorrow be Marshall's last day? When will they announce his replacement, or are they just going to do rotations?

Get the facial tissue and VCR ready.

It will be a hard newscast for those who saw Marshall for many years. He is on my top three favorite all-time OCM's.

The Marshall Seese era is over.

During the :50 segment, they had a really nice tribute (lots of old clips!), and the :55 segment was Marshall essentially holding back tears.

There's some activity in the tropics. They might have to let Dr. Lyons out of his box a bit early.
