Today, with Heather and Nicole hosting YWT, they're using a more polished recorded teaser like the other shows, but the opener is still being played separately.

They did that last Friday, too.

I don't know you guys. Seems to me that if it was only a minor cold or something Carl COULD be feeling just fine today...or at least better than he did over the weekend.  :twothumbs:

So apparently Adam Berg is filling in for Carl Parker today, who was in turn supposed to be filling in for Nick Walker.

So they're sending out four TWC staffers for Dolly. Jim Cantore, Mike Bettes, Mike Seidel, and Julie Martin.

They're sending them out already!  :censored: They are so hyped up for a storm that is only supposed to impact five square miles of US land.

I'm surprised. I thought the group would include Bill Keneely. IIRC, Bill's always been one of the field reporters during hurricane coverage.

No, they're not going to send them out until tomorrow. And where are you getting this five square miles of land? I'm sure a storm that has basically engulfed most of the Gulf of Mexico will impact more than five square miles of US land.

The only thing I question is the intensity aspect. Its not a very strong storm at all, and yet their sending people out there like they're expecting another Katrina.

They seem to do that a lot. They did that in 2005, they sent Jim Cantore down here when Arlene was headed our way, and it only made landfall as a Tropical Storm.

TWC has been overhyping hurricanes since John Hope died.

It seemed like it was heading towards Bronsville, TX, but that could be an outdated forecast.

I was joking of that number.

It is, but since it's a rather large circulation, it's going to effect a lot of people.
