Sorry if this isn't new-thread worthy, but I was going through my production music catalog (basically the music I'm permitted to use for my company) when I found this..

That is Datastreams from Video Helper production library. TWC used it for Live Weather Updates from 2012-2013. I have the same song on my phone. I was able to download it directly from VH. I really wish TWC would use this song again!

While were on the subject, does anyone know the name of the piece of music that runs from about 0:16 to 0:30 in this clip? And is there any way I can find it? I've been looking for it for sometime now and I just can't seem to find it anywhere.

VideoHelper? That's interesting. Not where we got it from, composer must write for another library.

Can't seem to identify the 0:16 to 0:30 song but what I can identify is the Hurricane Intro after the 0:30 mark which is also from VideoHelper. Can't think of the name but someone mentioned it on the forums here a couple years back. Check General TWC Discussion or General Discussion. I'll look for it.

I was able to identify the second storm alert music from VideoHelper so most likely the song from 0:16 to 0:30 is in their too. Also the Tropical Opener from your video is Anger Pays Off from VH035

In that clip you attached, that 0:16 to 0:30 is in that one too. Right after the Weather Center open. I don't know where it was exactly in the video. I'll say around 4:40-ish. But it was in that clip too.
