On the Watches/Warnings map? When the map has to cover a larger area, like tonight, the map zooms out and the county borders disappear.

Oh. But I usually see them use the maps zoomed out with the county lines like yesterday.

It all depends on how far the zoom out is. The map would get way too busy if they kept all the county borders there.

Although I haven't seen it, I imagine the maps have to cover a lot due to the vast amount of severe weather tonight.

At 11:02 PM ET, Rich tried to show a map of the actual highs for the Midwest, and most of the cities were just displaying a "--".

I was just reviewing my recording of regular EE tonight, and when they were going into the 8:30 CT segment, Alexandra, not knowing she was on the air, could be heard saying, "We're going to have to ad-lib; it's not in the prompter."

Durning the weekly planner on your weather today, this morning @ 9:20-9:22 AM ET, the showed Raleigh, NC's Highs @ 0F or 1F for the high, but marshall pointed out that actually 0F is 100F, & 1F is actually 101F.

That seems to be a bug in the Viz|Weather systems that they need to work out; it happened a few other times this week, too.

For some reason, Viv and Sam are working together today, and they just displayed the two person L3 identifying Sam as "Samantha Mohr" and identifying Viv as "Samantha Mohr Brown".

While doing the Weekly Planner, Adam had Viz|Weather mess up on him and keep regenerating the Saturday Forecast map instead of moving forward.

On another note, the maps he was presenting were precip maps with the city indicators removed. Instead, the map displayed selected high temperature ranges (i.e. 80s, 90s, 100s) displayed inside translucent boxes.

Kevin Robinson was just about to make an apparently off-color comment about turkeys in a turkey farm that was destroyed by a tornado. He quickly stopped himself and said, "You know what, there's probably some animal lovers out there; I better not say what I was going to say."

You bet there's animal lovers out there, Kevin!

Is it just me, or was Jorma's 10:30 update completely audioless for us, but had clear audio for the OCM's?

Probably. I believe Jorma's mic was going bad during one of his other live reports earlier in the morning.

There was no intro at the start of WWC - after the teaser, it faded to a black screen for a few seconds, and then when straight to the desk without an intro.
