And to possibly piggyback the previous, there was no opener at 9:00 for the double-E.
at the top of the 8:00 o'clock hour (CDT) one lowerthird during the teaser was cut off of the left side of the screen. i thought it was rather interesting.
the lower third was also displayed far lower than normal (in the area normally covered by the LDL).

I noticed that; but this particular lower third would have been completely covered by the LDL had it not been off since it was the top of the hour.
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but I take a stab at it and say that the L3 was a part of a pre-made teaser package in editing.
