The WUWA promo for tomorrow mentions the "Kentuck Derby." I'm sure at least someone here is looking forward to it.

Jen had a special guest during the 7 Day Forecast.

Not sure if I see a blooper...

They went from Ryan live to Kim on tape from the same area of the studio without using any transitions effect.
I still wouldnt think of it as a blooper.. I see it happen in news productions all the time.

The label I'd give that would be "sloppy" not blooper.

Yeah, the video switcher operator could have used a better transition to go to the footage instead of a cut or the editor of the video footage could have just added in a transition at the beginning

A big TWC logo (not the IS one or national LDL one) appeared by itself before going to the commercials at about 6:25, like it did pre-2010.

Rememeber how when a segment would start, before the LDL cued, the TWC logo appeared, the logo would appear by itself? That's what it looked.

The logo you were referring to appeared again at 10:23PM EDT. From what I've seen, it looked like it was part of the 7-day forecast graphics. Adam Berg had his feet over the logo so I'm certain that the logo is part of the graphics.

The logo on the background is for the 7 Day Forecast that airs on NBC during the rebroadcast of the 4th hour of the Today Show.
That's why the logo was blocked by the LDL.
Someone must have picked the wrong background animation file.

I don't get why they feel the need to watermark the graphics. It's like another one of those unexplained mysteries I'll never understand with them. :dunno:

In reality, everyone does it. It's to make sure if someone uses it, they always know where and who it came from (like other NBC stations). They don't send over lower thirds, just the graphics usually and that may be one of their Max shows that had the logo on it and instead of using the one without it, they made the mistake. Just my assumption.

Oops, my bad :blushing: I was watching the SD feed, and was wondering why the logo behind the IS one was bigger than usual, so I thought it was the one I described. Silly me.

Sorry for the double post.

At 3:44 PM CT, before going to commercials, they played the 2010-2011 WC music.
