A big TWC logo (not the IS one or national LDL one) appeared by itself before going to the commercials at about 6:25, like it did pre-2010.

Rememeber how when a segment would start, before the LDL cued, the TWC logo appeared, the logo would appear by itself? That's what it looked.
The logo on the background is for the 7 Day Forecast that airs on NBC during the rebroadcast of the 4th hour of the Today Show. That's why the logo was blocked by the LDL.Someone must have picked the wrong background animation file.
I don't get why they feel the need to watermark the graphics. It's like another one of those unexplained mysteries I'll never understand with them.

It's like another one of those unexplained mysteries I'll never understand with them. In reality, everyone does it. It's to make sure if someone uses it, they always know where and who it came from (like other NBC stations). They don't send over lower thirds, just the graphics usually and that may be one of their Max shows that had the logo on it and instead of using the one without it, they made the mistake. Just my assumption.
