This show is not new. It aired last year, IIRC.

This show is not new. It aired last year, IIRC.

I surely don't recall that myself.

I do distinctly remember it being aired last year. I don't remember exactly when it aired, but I think it aired either sometime before or after Storm Stories: In Peril (which if you recall, In Peril didn't really get any airtime due to Hurricane Dean).

EDIT: I saw the promo for this show. The title is different (I think it's like "Cantore's Stories: On Top of the World" or something like that) - I think last year it was just called "Cantore's Stories". Either way, the Cantore's Stories title is not new.

Are you sure your not thinking of something else, maybe Coast Guard Storm Stories? You seem to be the only one with any recollection of this show. Even Billy doesn't remember it. If he had said he did, then I'd be inclined to believe it. But with only one person claiming to remember this show, its hard to believe.

Are you sure your not thinking of something else, maybe Coast Guard Storm Stories? You seem to be the only one with any recollection of this show. Even Billy doesn't remember it. If he had said he did, then I'd be inclined to believe it. But with only one person claiming to remember this show, its hard to believe.

Ok, time to dispel some rumors. First of all, Cantore's Stories is NOT a show. It is a special airing all next week wherein Jim Cantore will be showing favorite episodes of SS and giving tips. Think of it as a best of. Here's a link to a commercial:

That video is actually something entirely different from last year; I didn't remember this myself until I saw that ad.

This year's "Cantore Stories: On Top of The World" sounds like something completely different and unrelated, and it doesn't start until November 10th.

That's last year's commercial (even though the video was posted this year). Notice at the end it says it airs "all next week", and next week isn't November 11th.
