According to an ad that just ran, TWC is doing another Green is Universal Week next week in celebration of Earth Day.
-
Wow, just in time for Earth Day. I just realized they are doing this without Heidi Cullen and the Forecast Earth crew. It's just Natalie Allen.
-
Well, one thing is for sure:
TWC is going crazy with the advertisements for it, with, I counted, 7 times that the Green is Universal Week ad appeared on my Local Forecast. They have also doled out a new intro for it, which is playing almost non-stop LF after LF.
I sure hope they still end up playing those Earth Day promos like they did in 2007 and 2008, as I want to catch another one (I already hav the 2007 one though).

Looking at the Zap2It guide, there are going to be two original shows next week called "Green is Universal". One will air at 2PM ET Monday, and the other will air at the same time on Tuesday. The rest of the week (including the bottom of the long-form hours on Monday and Tuesday) will feature repeats of Forecast Earth except for one episode of Weather Ventures that will air on Wednesday.

Will this mean another green logo on the LDL, TWC |HD|, or everywhere the logo gets displayed?
-
I think so.
From now on, all these are with the other NBC networks, and MSNBC, CNBC, NBC, Telemundo, etc. are to follow suit.
-
I suppose it's worth noting that WCAU-TV and its Weather Plus channel don't have green logos, even though it's an NBC O&O station.

I don't think they went green last time either.

My mom was watching a move on Oxygen this weekend and when I walked through the room I heard "Green Is Universal" and I turned around and saw the same ad as on TWC so Oxygen must be an NBC station as well.
-
I think it's funny how NBC's Green is Universal slogan is "Green lives here and TWC's is "Green shines here." Who got the idea first? :whistling:

KP: Bought last year or 07.
Andy: Green matters here was spotted on MSNBC...maybe each has a variant?
