Has anyone seen this video? It's a classic from July 1989. July 1989 Weather Channel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji1eHDU4COg#)

Thank you very much for posting this! Wow - talk about nostalgia! Those are the weather maps, and the meteorologists, that I grew up watching, and loved every second of it!
Interestingly, my cable headend's WeatherStar III didn't use the optional sensor package you see in use on the LDL here. Instead, our current conditions came from Boston's Logan Airport. The advantage was that our current conditions report on the Local Forecast and the LDL had sky conditions, but we had less almanac information (temperature and precipitation).

Good stuff, thanks!

You all are welcome. That's why I posted it. I knew people would really like it.

John Doyle, Marny Stanier, and Mark Mancuso - that was how I remember TWC when I first got cable. :)

Oh gosh, do you by chance have any other recordings of that month? There was TWC footage of an epic Manhattan lightning storm - tons of lightning, early July 1989... and it was the storm event that originally got me hooked on TWC when I was little. That'd be the biggest nostalgic time-trip if I can ever find video from that day again.

You'd have to ask the person that posted that video. It wasn't lightning.
