Title: Weather Channel HD Pre-Launch Ads
Post by: kpetree10 on May 16, 2008, 02:48:51 AM: I have setup a basic site where I am posting ads and local on the 8s spots from TWC HD. Right now I am hosting it on my home computer so the connection is REALLY slow but it works. I will be adding videos as I get them... feedback welcomed!

I've got an Athlon 64 X2 with 2 GB RAM and I'm struggling to watch these videos. Any way you could possibly create "low bandwidth" versions that would be (a) easier to download and (b) run more smoothly?

Are you talking about the HD one? If so its the last one on the list "The Weather Channel Changing" otherwise I don't but I'm sure I can find it.

Side note, when I watch these videos in Quick Time, or MPC I only see the 10 / 15 second promo, but if I import it in to Avid, I see commercials and station ID's and LOT8 openers!

Dang, now I wish I had Avid, I only have Final Cut Pro.
