Market East, Phila, PA TWC Feed
« on: October 09, 2012, 12:20:54 PM »
Back in the mid 90's my family used to take trips down to center city around the holidays. I remember back then there used to be CRT's above the platform in the Market East Septa station which showed a different feed of TWC. To my knowledge, it was a TWC feed, and showed a Weatherscan-style display continuously. In years since, the TV's have been removed. Does anyone happen to know what that (possible) alternate feed was that was displayed in the train station?

Do you remember if any local weather was displayed? They converted the satellite local forecast from the travel forecast scroll to the version with forecast maps, satellite and radar in April of 1994.

Nick,
Unfortunately, the only things that I do remember is that it showed the forecast data (not sure if only local to Phila, or was nation-wide), it bearded the name of TWC, and it was not the regular TWC feed with OCMs/Commercials/LF's.
