Dale Eck appears on Weather View

On Weather View this morning former classic OCM Dale Eck appeared on the Winter Weather Authority segment providing storm analysis. Apparently he's the director of the Global Forecast Center. Didn't know he was still with the Weather Channel.

I knew he was. He's just no longer an OCM. There are several people who were once OCMs, who are still with The Weather Channel, just not OCMs anymore.

As far as I know, unfortunately, no, he is not.

Good question.  I mainly remember him as kind of a fill-in.  I thought I saw him up through the late 90s maybe?  I don't know beyond that.

I think he stopped coming on tv regularly around 1995.
