TWC has lost yet another familiar face, as Ray Ban retires. He was the Execustive Vice President of Programming and Meteorology. Article:

So is there a reason no one's talking about this? You'd think this part of the forum had the plague or something. 

Anyhwo...I thought the name of the fellow taking his place (Geoffery Darby) sounded familiar. It IS familiar. He produced many shows for Nickelodeon including Double Dare, Doug, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and many more.

Yes, he was. He's been there for something like 23 years I believe.

I don't blame the conspiracy theorists since I myself wonder if there's more to the story than what the public is privileged to know. I just don't trust NBC given the way that they seem completely willing to toss TWC staff out the door like it's nothing.

It's possible that there's more to this than meets the eye, but it just seems like there are a couple of idiots over there who are always laser fast to start the conspiracy theories.
