Title: N/A Icons
Post by: TWCToday on February 01, 2009, 12:45:17 PM
Each icon in the emulator is linked to an icon. When the emulator receives the forecast and it says shorain, the rain icon is shown and a title of Rain is used. Now sometimes the emulator will find a condition thats not been linked to an icon. Example Snow shower will show snowshwr or something along those lines with a N/A icon. These can be fixed by provided you post exactly the text displayed for the icon. Thanks.

So far I've seen NA icons for: Mostly Cloudy (CC pages), Mixed Precipitation (CC pages), Freezing Rain (all pages), Sleet (all pages). I don't recall what the emulator showed below the NA icon, sorry.

I found one. The one you mentioned, but it's not snowsho, but snowshwr. :P

The temperatures are a bit wrong on the last two, as well...

Also, the icons don't show up for blowing snow (icon 15), heavy snow (icon 42).  I also noticed it had N/A for light rain/mist (icon 9) & fog and it was showing N/A for snow (icon 16).  I think it wasn't grabbing the snow with wind icon, either, for when it's windy (icon 43), light snow (icon 14) and flurries (icon 13).  When the conditions said 'flurries' the icon was showing up N/A.  I hope that helps!

I noticed tonight that when it shows the N/A for "flurries," it also cuts off the ends of the word Flurries for the condition so it looks like "LURRIE".

Not sure if this has been addressed yet but I noticed this today.  I figured I would pass it along!

Condition: BLNGSNO (looks like "LNGSNO" as the listed condition)
Shows Up As: N/A
Should Be: Icon 15
