Cutoff Text
« on: March 22, 2009, 07:34:27 PM »
I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this or not but I thought I would share it.  Sometimes, the NWS makes their forecast ridiculously long and it gets cutoff at the bottom.  (See Image)

I'm not sure if there is a way to make the forecast shorter or making that last line show up or not show up, etc.  I figured you guys would have a good idea of what to do.  Thanks!

Currently I am unaware of what the feeling is towards using your own themes. As you see its certainly possible. I kindly ask others not to do so until contacting me unless I post otherwise. I will look into this.

As for the text. Its a rare instance but I will make a note of it.

sheesh! that is a definatly a rediculiouly long period forecast. i would like to note that the emulator is showing more lines of forecast than the original weatherscan did (just in the case of this event!) however, in this event, the forecaster went to town writing this description. i put thought into the idea of the "continuing" forecast, but the aggrivation of writing that code isnt really worth it, just because of the infrequency of it being used..

on another note, in the event you wish to contribute your theme as a "pack" for others to use.. please let me know! i am sure others would like to enjoy from your nice art!

I understand about the code.  I tried programming once and it gave me a headache, lol.

I'm going to put finishing touches on the two packs and send them to Martin to check out.  Feel free to message me if you have questions, etc. :D
