Title: Weather Bulletin not appearing on LDL or Local Forecast on 24688.
Post by: hen7713 on June 22, 2010, 12:11:39 AM: The Weather Bulletin is no longer appearing on the LDL or LF on IntelliSTAR 24688. This can be a safety problem during national programing when the LDL is used. It needs to be fixed due to the severe weather coming through. Thanks in advance!

The weather bulletin scrolling text should appear on the screen at all times, regardless of when the LDL is normally cued. The only exception is when the cable company switches from the feed from The Weather Channel to show local commercials.

I think after x amount of minutes, the warning LDL shuts off IIRC. :unsure:

Unless the red crawl is for a Tornado Watch. Then it will only display for 10 minutes.

Post by: hen7713 on June 23, 2010, 05:01:17 AM: Thanks STAR team! There's still another problem on the Weather Bulletin screen, it is only displaying the Flash Flood Watch, however it's not displaying the Severe Thunderstorm Watch.

Post by: P71nnacle on June 23, 2010, 06:52:26 PM: Severe Thunderstorm Watch and Warning within 10 minutes of each other appears to have knocked our IntelliSTAR offline. We only have the Satellite LF at this time. (Sheesh.)
