The IS2 for Topeka, KS on Cox Cable has been completely out since early Saturday afternoon.
Edit: Tried deleting this post but it wouldn't let me. Our IS2 is back up at 12:28am Monday.
Edit 2: As of 7am Monday morning it is not on at all again.
Edit 3: As of 12:20am Tuesday morning our IS2 is back up and running and is still up at 9am. Got a frozen picture for almost a minute then at 12:28am it cued as normal.
-
I'll reset it and hopefully it will be more stable after that.
-
It was working the past couple days (I think it's been a couple days.) This morning it is out again. It has not come on since I woke up about 6am. (3 hours ago)
-
Our IS2 has been functioning for the past couple days. Thanks.
-
Our IS2 has been out most of the day again.
EDIT: Still down at 3pm CT on Wednesday.
-
Our IS2 is back up as of about 12:30am last night... the normal time it comes back for whatever reason.
-
...and we're back down since very early this morning.
-
Our IS2 is still out. :( Now our Weatherscan is doing the "jumping" it was several months ago. Like it's running on an old computer and it can't catch up to itself. The ticker is especially bad but some of the maps like radar on the legend will do a weird scratchy type action. (Have no idea how to describe it.)

At this point I better make clear when you say Istar2, do you mean the SD or HD star?
-
The HD star. It was out most of last week, I've been in Kansas City the entire weekend so I don't know if it ever came on during that time. I looked when I got home a couple hours ago and it wasn't coming on. So I'm assuming the HD Star has been out the entire weekend. I even contacted Cox Kansas via Facebook a couple times telling them there hasn't been a local forecast on TWC HD and they never responded for some reason.
Weatherscan has been working fine since before I left on Friday evening, BTW.
Thanks!
Edit: Monday morning it's working, but I'm expecting it to go back out this evening as it usually does.
Edit: ...and it's out. About 10:30am it started flashing colors fast every time the LOT8's came on, then it would cut to the national feed, then come back fine, then cut back out. Now it's just out completely. Took video of it flashing earlier. Could post if you want.

Not trying to bug anybody, but our IS2 is still completely out.
-
I called Cox this morning about it and they said all of Kansas and Arkansas are having problems for the past 3 weeks. Our IS2 just now came back on with NO DATA for everything. So I'm assuming it's all loading in and everything will be back up and running soon. Thanks!
-
It didn't last long. About two hours after it booted up and loaded in all the data it went out again. It's been out since Monday. :/
-
I don't want to start a new thread for this since it goes for the same unit. Our IS2 is putting up a green screen again a lot since Monday. Then it glitches in and out and finally goes away and throws it back to the satellite feed and does not come back until after the next commercial break. It's doing it randomly whenever the IS2 is on screen at all. Scrolls, LDL, LOT8's. Also I've noticed that forecasts like TONIGHT: Party Cloudy/Windy for various locations have the sun icon instead of the moon icon. It does it randomly through hourly forecasts (1am it's not sunny here), overnight forecast on the LDL, during LOT8's map forecasts, etc. If someone could look at that at least, not sure if it's a certain weather condition that triggers it, but it tends to be during Party Cloudy forecast conditions. Also not sure if this is a general IS2 problem or a problem with just ours, but I've noticed it several times.
-
BTW: Weather Channel HD is nothing but a black screen all morning. No picture, no audio. :/ Called Cox and they're "not having any known issues with the channel, but we can send a tech out tomorrow."
EDIT: We're back up.
-
Part of the reason I'm wanting to switch to Cox is to get a local forecast from TWC in HD...but apparently Cox has had nothing but issues with their IS2.  Is it possible they could just get a replacement IS2?
-
Unfortunately, the IS2 platform is very buggy platform at the moment, so dont think just the Topeka one is having problems
