Hi,
I have noticed that the local forecast sometimes seems to go crazy. Is this normal? I also have a video below
My cable provider is Midcontinent Communications the star id is 028843
IS2 Glitch? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFqLFqACpUo#ws)

The Intellistar 2 is new and the design team is still working out bugs. That is why they are only in beta stage. If this is not a bug, then it appears to be damaged hardware or graphical corruption.
-
Thats what i figured but i am just wondering if its common to see if its a bug or the star. It also seems to be worse at night then the day
-
Zeak we appreciate you posting the problem! The STAR team is working hard to address many of the errors associated with the new IS2. Hopefully they will be able to resolve the problem :)
-
From the looks of it, the Star looks to be recently installed.
-
I also want to point out that its not just the local on the 8s that glitches even during programming you can see it on the ldl (i think that is what you call the local weather on the bottom of the screen correct me if I'm wrong) this includes the brief green screen its quite annoying while trying to watch.
It was installed back sometime in November.
Thanks for your responses so far

That system was rebooted finally. Can you watch it and let us know if the flashing has continued?
-
hey
thank you for the reboot. Would you by chance know when the reboot was? i noticed the flashing around 11pm last night (march 31st) i also noticed while it happens i see some tearing i know the channel sometimes has tearing spells even before is2. Other then that i have not noticed it.
-
The reboot happened Friday morning, so let me know if you see it again.
-
hello once again
as about 11 pm tonight twc HD is just a big green tint. Any idea whats up? i've seen this happen before a few times now.
-
How long did it stay in the green tint? I have never heard of this before.
-
Ive seen it like this for maybe about 24 hours or more. I am guessing its whenever my cable provider finds out and reboots the is2? (I'm taking a guess that's what happens) As far as the tint currently its still their as of this posting what you see in the pic is all you see. Thank you for any help
-
Support was notified and they are calling your Cable system.
-
Looks like its back up again.
-
Let me know whenever the Topeka one is out.
-
Topeka isn't cueing at 6:40PM Friday. I've noticed the green screen a couple times but it's usually a quick blip. Never does what yours is doing just staying green over time.
-
Just got green screen at 7:59pm Friday. Lasted about a minute, but IS2 has been cueing again since about 7:30pm.
-
Our IS2 is out every day at about 6:20pm until about 7:15pm or so.
-
Yes, you are right about that time. I have turned that issue in.
