So how many songs are on Weatherscan and how often do they change the music set.  Most of the time it sounds to me like there is like 5.

There are 33 songs, and it hasn't changed since late 2007. All plans regarding Weatherscan are on hold right now.

Why are all plans on hold?  Are they thinking of discontinuing it?

In my opinion, it would be a great disservice if Weatherscan were to be cancelled, but, on the other hand, NBC realizes that you can't show movies on Weatherscan.  :(

Weatherscan's ratings aren't all that great in most of the country anyway since it was never really advertised (except for a short time in late 2005), so I wouldn't be surprised if it were to be cancelled. It would be a huge loss for me if it did.

Thank gosh! We just got it...and Its on my TV at least 5 times a day now.  Great to be able to turn the channel to a station where you can immediately get weather.
