We had a situation tonight where a member (who will not be named) harassed another member (who also will not be named). The harasser has been permanently removed from this forum. I would go so far as to say that this may even have been sexual harassment, which is not only grounds for a permanent banning from this site, its also against the law. Further, the harasser was an adult, and the harassed a minor. That too would be very close to being against the law. I am considering reporting this person to his local authorities. When an adult solicits a minor as was done here tonight, its a big no no.
As part of our investigation into these activities, we did indeed have to resort to reading PM's. But you have to understand that the safety of our members comes first, especially in situations such as this. We felt that this situation was serious enough to merit such action.
Again, this WILL NOT be tolerated here.
I am leaving this thread open, so feel free to communicate any questions or comments you have. And thank you for your understanding in this serious situation.

Wow! This is really odd, I would never have expected such behavior here :faint: . Well, thanks for letting everyone know about the situation. If I can remeber, I think that sexual harasment is illegal in the United States, and the authorities should be notified about sexual harasment, especialy from an adult to a minor. It's just wrong and sick. Who in the right mind would even do such a thing? For me, even thinking about it gives me the chills, so I reccomend telling the authorities about this wrong behavior :pinch:

First of all, he's been banned in every way I can think of to ban a person. :P
That said, I've sent a note to Tyler recommending that they ban Roland too. Haven't heard back from him yet though.

I canot believe this happened, this is one of the worse crimes a TWC fan has done to another TWC fan. The harraser should be ashamed of himself, and shall be in jail. If he's young, he shall be in juvenile hall. I'm very sorry to hear that. I find it shocking. Who knows if this is in the news, such as CNN, Fox, etc.

I always thought there was something strange about Roland. I looked at his lasts posts and they were absolutely horriffic. I know this stuff happens, but I have no idea why it would happen to a forum I am a member of, especially here. Even though what I just said is true, I am not surprised, as Roland is a long time Wikipedia Vandal (See here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Abuse_reports/75.62.206.181_(Dingbat_2007)) and you can definetely verify it is him by looking here (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&limit=500&target=75.62.206.181&month=&year=))
An abuse report was sent to his ISP after many sock puppets and vandalism. If Roland is a member of TWCC, I highly suggest we notify them about this matter and show them the links above. We do not want Roland to do this to anybody else. We should also notify Wikipedia to add to that report so AT&T will listen to Wikipedia and us.
