Post by: TWCToday on December 21, 2010, 06:02:02 AM
The latest installment in our Local Across the 48s will take place TONIGHT at 8:58pm ET!  B) We hope that everyone can participate. If you aren't able to don't worry. We try to have several of these events each year.

During a Local Across the 48s, members across the country capture their Local On the 8s at the same time. If you have questions regarding the process please feel free to ask them here :)

Okie dokie Zach... you'll probably be better at uploading it than I am, anyway.

Besides, I'd probably forget too. LOL

Thank you much for the quick reply!

(P.S. Looks like I need to stop by here more often.... & that I need to update my profile.)

Wait, is that with or without the LF app? I plan to upload the HD National STAR, since we don't get an app on ours.

LF app? Do you mean Local Forecast app?... can you tell, I'm really out of the loop anymore! ... Ever since Abrams & Bettes moved to the morning... seems I haven't been "communicating" much via here or Twitter. My bad!

Should I upload it by attaching it to my post or should I post it somewhere else such as YouTube and link to it?
It is in .mpg format and is about 90mb.  I apologize for it not being in mp4; I saw the email about this about 20 minutes before 8:58pm and was making a mad dash to catch it!  I could see if I can convert it.

I used VirtualDub and XviD compression to get mine down to 31 MB if that helps

I'm waiting on filedropper to finish processing a link, my video would have been up an hour ago, but my internet connection went down while the attachment was uploading the video file to the forums.

I was just successful in converting it to mp4 with the new size at about 28mb but I will keep your suggestion in mind.  Thanks.

Sometimes with large attachments it gets difficult. Thanks for your patience and doing that!
