To celebrate the first day of winter and the holidays we are having a Local Across the 48s on December 22nd at 7:58pm ET. For those of you not familiar with one of these the concept is pretty simple. We want everyone possible around the country to record their local forecast (in HD/SD or both!) at the exact same time. It's a fun way to see each others local forecasts as well as weather conditions around the country. It is preferred that you record your forecast with a tuner but any type of camera will work as long as background noise is kept to a minimum and there is no shaking. Also try to submit your videos in .avi format. Not required but it helps me out. Thanks!! Looking forward to the submissions.

Just a friendly reminder that we're under an hour away from the event!

Thanks Zach, I almost forgot.

I'm ready to record! I'll be recording both my IS and Weatherscan, so expect two clips from me

Since when do we record WeatherScan for LAT48s? :dunno:

Since when do we record WeatherScan for LAT48s? :dunno:
There have been members in the past who have, so I dont see the problem.

D'oh, I forgot this was supposed to be happening tonight. Oh well no IS video from me this time around. :(
-
DVRd both my IS and IS2, i'll try to get in AVI...

i may have started the trend in the past :P
it would seem logical since Weatherscan provides a region-wide local forecast than a Local Area Forecast the IS does.

I had a tax update class and I completely forgot to set my tuner. Sorry guys.

Of course when I happen to record this LF, the file becomes corrupted. So no clip. :censored:
