Title: Forum Upgrade RC4
Post by: TWCToday on January 15, 2011, 05:43:32 AM
The forums have been upgraded to the latest software version. Please report any problems.

Issues we are aware of:
SMF Logo on some themes
Improper gradient on some themes
Weather Data is missing

We will be working to correct these issues as soon as possible

That's a CSS fix. I'll work on that later. There will be a few WxCenter theme issues. Please continue to report them so I or TyTy can fix it.

On the blue and white theme, those little tabs where the reply/notify/print buttons are seem to be out of place. Also, there's a random blue bar at the top of every page.

For the entire old "curve" theme, the forum is "stretched" much further to each end of the screen (not sure what the proper terminology to describe this is). But, for example, on the TWC Today main site, there is a bunch of blank space on either side of the "table"...well, this no longer exists on the older theme.

I can confirm this. Its resizing the page to fit your browser size. I don't know exactly how to turn that off but I made a backup of all the files from the RC3 themes so I probably can fix that

I need everyone to clear their cache and cookies for the site, and reload your browsers before posting bugs, to alleviate any cache related issues that may arrise, like Mike's blue bar and button out of place thing.

I notice the Skype username field disappeared. Can this be brought back? Maybe also add a Gtalk field while you're on that?

Those are mods that need to be added back.  We have to uninstall mods before doing an upgrade.  Then, they are later restored after the upgrade is completed.  Martin can handle this issue pretty quickly.
