Title: Forum Update 2.0 RC1.2
Post by: TWCToday on August 02, 2009, 05:53:07 AM: Today we did a minor update that fixed some site issues and created a few others.

1. Since the last update the email system was not working. However it was saving all of those emails and with the install of the new update, began sending over 7000+ emails that had been queued. This was not expected and could not have been prevented. I apologize for the slew of emails many of you likely got.

~~2. The PM Notifier does not work but cant be removed at he moment. We are looking into the issues. I advise checking your PM and the notifier will go away.~~

3. The email system DOES work now. It is using Garys email address. Im not sure why but I will attempt to fix the issues. Some of you all have signed up for updates on topics and forums with high traffics amounts. You likely saw a huge amount of emails. I am sorry. You will need to go to your account and disable notifications or you will continue to see an elevated amount of emails. To do this go to Profile-> Modify Profile-> Personal Messaging There you can disable being sent an email when you get a PM.

4. The "Members" page has some errors

5. Some of you using the "quick chat" may noticed it was turned off by default. It is still here so if its off for you go to Profile-> Modify Profile ->Look and Layout Then select your choice for Use quick reply on topic display:

~~6. The SMF default logo is now showing in the top right corner. This will be removed~~

Please report any problems you may see with the forum.

The members page has been identified as a problem (see #4)

A minor issues but we will see if we can fix that

We're already aware of those issues. Please read the first post; all known issues that have yet to be fixed are listed there. :yes:
