Title: Forum Outage
Post by: TWCToday on July 22, 2009, 10:07:07 PM: Early Wednesday morning, the TWC Forums went down without notice and for without reason. I do not believe at this time it was a security issue that caused the forum to fail. Thanks to the help of our great host, we restored a backup of the forum. All posts seem to be intact. Please alert me if there are any site or forum issues.

Thank you to everyone who alerted me of the forum outage. In the future please visit twctodayforums.com or http://www.ustream.tv/channel/norfolk-weather-channel-stream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/norfolk-weather-channel-stream) I or others will be on the IRC chat there and can answer your questions. In the event of a long outage, thats the best place to be.

Post by: Stephen on July 22, 2009, 10:26:33 PM: Our host was able to simply restore all of the forum files to get thing back up and running. There were no issues with the database; apparently some files got corrupted.

That's been present before the outage. Not going to worry about it right now since it isn't a huge deal. :no:

Nope it was normal like that before the outage.
Clear you cache, ect. See if that helps. Its been a known issue before
