Folks, I just hatched an excellent new idea for the forum. I'm not going to go into detail right now, but lets just say it involves getting our beloved artists to come and chat with us here at the forum. :twothumbs:
FYI, I was standing in the shower with a head full of shampoo when the idea came to me. :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

I was gonna suggest something like this awhile back, and even putting the artists in their own "member group". But I never did, because I figured that artists would bet billions of PMs per day of song requests, and such. IIRC, Mark Krurnowski joined TWCC back in January 2007. Maybe you should ask him to join.

I'd love to give the musicians their own member group, but I'm not sure it can be done. :(
As for the PM issue, I made a rule that states that artists may NOT be PM'd. You aren't allowed to PM the STAR Team at TWCC, so I feel the same should hold true for the artists, unless they explicitly state that they wish to receive PM's.

To update you guys, I have heard back form the following artists, all whom have said they will visit:
Ken Gregory
Doug Markley
David Becker
Art Ruprecht
Ralph Diekemper
Don't confuse this to mean that they are joining. That is not necessarily true. They just said they would visit.

Everyone: Feel free to contact artists yourselves if you wish. I've only contacted a few myself, so it would certainly be a huge help!

I'm a little bummed that Ryan Farish is the only artist (of those that I contacted) who decided to join us. I was hoping at least a few others would. :(
Maybe I can some more to get in touch with. I can't imagine why they would tell me they are checking the place out, yet not join. :wacko:

You guys should try contacting some of the artists with harder-to-find music, like Jeanne Ricks, Mark Krurnowski, Mick Mahan, Leon Ayers, Steve Glotzer, etc.

I saw Joe Loskota is a band member in Myspace. I'd like to contact him too but i will need to add a friend request to the band first. Also Patrick Yandall and Jeanne Ricks and Boney James are my friends on myspace too.
