This is a message to anyone who uses the game room, particularly those who use it alot. There are going to be some major changes coming soon. I simply do not like the way things are currently going in there, and I'm going to see what I can do to change it. I will be consulting with admins at other forums as well as my co-admins here to determine the following:
-Is there a problem
-How major is it
-What should be done to remedy it
When I come to a decision regarding what will be done, I will update you.

I think at some point of time, it causes some problems, because 1)People are being offtopic 2)People are getting angry and starting to argue 3)The problems could be major and it could be because people could have issues on what people are posting or something
This could be my analysis of what I think the Game Room is going through

And most of all, people are being absolute post-whores with it. I'm all for closing the game room...

The game room is nowhere as bad in TWCC. Why can't it be the same here?

It's because no one wants to play in TWCC. In here there are people who actually WANT to post in the Game Room.

Yeah but you guys are at the point where your abusing it. I love it that you guys like to post in there, but IMO your taking it too far.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think I've ever read a post in the Game Room (here or at TWCC), let alone posted. So I have no idea what problems there are in either place. But I've had no complaints on my board, so I assume there are no problems. Personally, I don't see the point of a game room on any board. Message boards should be a place to exchange ideas, not to guess what someone is thinking or play hangman. :rolleyes:

Guys, I think we are reaching a point where we are not following the Game Room rules and Gary is locking all our games.
So guys, take it easy in the game room and let there be no arguements or conflicts.

I absolutley agree with you 1 billion percent. I am HEAVILY thinking about removing the game board altogether. Its gonna take some big thinking, so it will be a while before I decide, but I am very much in favor of such a measure.

FYI, anotehr rule has been added to the game room rules thread in the game room. Please read it, and make sure you understand it.

Folks, the game room is getting out of hand again. I WILL close it down if you all don't calm down a little bit. The amount of posting going on in there is simply ludicrous. :angry:
