Great work with the graphics.  What did you use to get the 3D peacock, the chromed peacock and the multi-layered color spectrum?

Thanks! I used PowerPoint to make the 3D Peacock with the 3D feature
(*You have to have a font that has TV news logos. I found a font set on tvnewstalk.net somewhere a while back that has TV news logos. Not sure where though.)
Then I messed with the filter settings in photoshop. (Used the filter chrome effect.. located in Filter -> Sketch -> Chrome) and then messed around with the blending effects. (I used the overlay blend) and then put the layers on top of each other. (I put 4 layers of the chromed peacock on top of each other). The multi-colored spectrum was really hard. I used the round brush with 0% hardness and transformed it into somewhat of a line like beam and then colored and duplicated it with different colors. That was the most challenging part of making those graphics. If you anyone else need any more help.. just PM me!  B)

Nice job! Can you please upload the raw WxScan backgrounds from all of the segments?

FINALLY! Got my new PC built after months and months of never ending issues and I was able save some files from my old laptop which died a few months ago.. and this means I'm back to making emulations. Here's what I've done so far in photoshop. Comments and feedback welcomed! :)

What effect did you use to make the forecast animation part fuzzy like that?

I used the eraser tool in photoshop and made the edges soft on the brush.

Not TWC, but a Hearst concept I've been working on for a bit now.

What program are you using for the 3D text, logos and swooshes??  I enjoy it a heck of a lot!

I used PowerPoint 2007 to make the 3D text and then saved them as a PNG image and imported them into photoshop and edited it in there with lighting and color effects.
